Our Friend Beatrice - meet Beatrice, Eilidh's wee friend down in Yorkshire. She is 6 weeks older than Eilidh and was diagnosed with SMA II in July.  Like most toddlers, she is full of joy. She is bright and into everything, eager to explore the world around her. Beatrice is always happy and ready to greet everyone she meets with a big smile and a wave.  We have been in touch with her parents Andy and Amy and hope to meet up in the near future.  It is important to us that both of these toddlers achieve their independence soon - we cannot imagine Eilidh gaining her whizzy wheels before Beatrice because we are on this journey together.  Please check out their website and blog...

Another Snapdragon Apprentice To be - meet Louis who lives in Edinburgh and will be 3 years old in January.  Louis is bright and full of life, always wanting to explore the world around him, but Louis can't walk unsupported and he can't stand unsupported, in fact he can't even sit up without help.  Louis doesn't have SMA.  In fact Louis doesn't have a diagnosis and the paediatricians at the Sick Kids have been trying to find answers since he was one.  Louis deserves to be mobile, to explore this amazing world independently and we will try to help him achieve this.  Please go and have a look at their website...
