Wedding Bells

We have the pleasure of knowing D&N, 2 wonderful people who are getting married this year on 11/11/11...

D&N suggested to us a while ago that they would like to dedicate their wedding list to Eilidh: they have been living together for over 10 years and do not feel that they need or want anything and would much rather that their guests donated to Eilidh and The Whizzy Wheel Fund...

They have 2 little girls, one who is just about the same age as E: they cannot imagine what we are going through and want to support us... this is what they would like to do...

We are blown away and moved to tears by their kindness...

Thank you, D&N

Pay-it-Forward

We have always been upfront about our fundraising...

That it is soley for the provision of equipment for Eilidh and, as such cannot be a registered charity.

We wanted people to know that this is also with the understanding that we can donate to other children waiting for their Whizzy Wheels.

On Eilidh's 2nd Birthday we wanted to do something to
pay-all the love/support/donations-forward.

We have thought this through and have decided to pay-it-forward... that is if no one objects?

We would like to donate some monies from Eilidh's Whizzy Wheels Fund to SnapDragon Apprentice's - children looking to gain their Whizzy Wheels just like Eilidh.

This money will come from the monies raised for the Wheelie Good Raffle held in December

BUT: you have raised this money for Eilidh and we want to ask you first whether this is ok?  Do you mind or totally object?  Are you happy for us to do this?  Please leave a comment or get in touch... it's important for us to know what you think...

Kiddies can Jump - Update!

Niamh is so very excited...

... she gets to do a sponsored Basketball Shoot with the Glasgow Rocks on Wednesday at her nursery Careshare @ Heritage House...

... she totally understands that she is helping to raise money for her little sister's whizzy wheels... "you know, mum; the chair I can stand on the back of and Eilidh drives?"... she wants to help...

So a BIG "Good Luck" to all of the children and staff at Heritage House on Wednesday...

We'll be there to shoot some hoops and wave our pom-poms!

UPDATE:1/12/10 postponed because of weather - health and safety apparently!

UPDATE:7/2/11 with the news that Eilidh's Snappie has been purchased, the event is now going to raise money for Cash for Kids and Great Ormond Street... we wish them good luck when the event goes ahead.

Gold Carriage Clock?

Some people are just amazing...

A friend's dad is about to retire in April and he doesn't want another gold carriage clock for the mantel piece...
He's asking his work colleagues to collect for Miss Eilidh and The Whizzy Wheel Fund!

Well, Thank You, Mr M!
